These small paintings on paper are part of a daily practice. Every day upon entering the studio, I begin and resolve at least one work with neither reference nor intent. This is my form of drawing and also serves as a warmup before jumping into a larger painting. When I install these works, I mount them and use a custom cleating system to hang them in a horizontal line across a wall that calls to my passion for both film and landscape.
